And this is why C2E2 is awesome and magical. Did I mention that I bought a moustache monocle (which if you’re thinking that that’s a wooden moustache on a monocle chain, you’d be correct) and then got Chris Hardwick to wear it? Because I did. And it was awesome.

They have let 5 people go from my team this week here at my new job, and from what I understand everyone who is not a permanent employee will be let go eventually and not converted to a full time employee like I was told. This just sucks because I left a stable job that I was making more money at, to come to this because it was so close to home and it would give me the help desk experience that I needed to excel as a IT Help desk professional. I have taken the precaution and contacted my recruiter to see about looking for new opportunities. I really hope it is not needed as this job is pretty good and so close to home.

One simply does not walk into Mordor!
I was on my way to work today and it seemed like the powers o be wanted me to be late for work, there was road construction on one of the roads I use to go to work and they had it down to 1 lane. I waited for 5 mins and eventually turned around and took an alternate route. It seemed like everything that could stop me I.e stoplights, traffic and everything tried to hinder my ability to get to work…… Once I got to work my day got a little bit better.
I am here at work and less than a half hour left and it is going by so slowly.
